Poor Merlin. He came to the UK as a frightened puppy.

Pulled from the kill shelter. He was adopted but sadly at the end of last year he was surrendered. As we had no foster homes available he was taken to kennels. Still a frightened boy kennel life had a devastating effect on him. He curled up in a tight ball at the back of his run and would not respond to anyone or anything. Eventually with lots of coaxing and patience we were able to start walking him in the paddock but he was such a sorry sight. Head down and tail between his legs.

A month before Christmas one of our volunteers was able to foster him. He has been doing so much better but there are 3 large dogs in the home he does find it a little too much and we fear it may be holding him back.

We are looking for a very special home for this boy. It needs to be nice and quiet, preferably rural. He needs experienced dog owners who can help him build his confidence with love and patience. He would be happy with one other confident dog. A home that is prepared to invest in him and allow him to appreciate his value.

Please consider him. He so deserves his own home

Merlin comes with full rescue back up. Adoption donation and home check apply.

Please note, we are unable to consider for adoption for Merlin:
