Alpha - Adopted

One of six from another unwanted pregnancy…..

Alpha came into our kennels on 30th April 2025.

Gizmo and Alpha are the last two from a litter of six. Their four sisters have already found foster homes, but Alpha and Gizmo didn’t get the same lucky break. Rather than leave them behind, we brought them to the UK and they’re now safe — but in kennels, not a home.

We spent a magical afternoon with them today, full of puppy love and full blown laughter.

Alpha is a leggy, deer-like goofball — he hasn’t quite grown into his long legs yet, and watching him run is pure joy. He’s a total people-pup, full of affection, energy, and personality. A real clown..

Both boys are incredibly friendly, full of love, and truly shouldn’t be in kennels. It broke our hearts to put them back after our time in the paddock — they deserve sofas, not concrete floors.

His Story

Alpha is from a litter of six. His mother lives in a village close to the home of our volunteer. Despite begging and pleading her owner refused to have the mother sterilised. Countless unwanted puppies are being born only to be thrown away like rubbish. Fortunately our volunteer was able to secure this litter and keep them safe until ready travel to the UK.

• People under 25 years old

• People with children under 5 years old

• Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours on a regular basis.
