Cookie needs your love.

Cookie is a lively little lady who has built her confidence over the last few weeks in foster.

She walks well on her lead and is incredibly playful. She could live with other dogs or children as long as they show her some initial patience. Cookie went into foster in Buckinghamshire on 23rd June 2025.

Cookie is a playful, happy little lady who truly comes to life when she's outside. She adores her toys (and the occasional shoe!) and is always up for a game in the garden. Indoors, she’s now fully confident and relaxed, enjoying her home comforts just as much as her outdoor adventures.

She thrives on stimulation and activity, and needs a home where she’ll get plenty of playtime, interaction, and opportunities to explore. Whether it’s a walk, a game, or learning something new, Cookie loves to be engaged and involved.

She can live with children and other dogs, and will do well in a home where her energy and curiosity are embraced. She’s looking for people who are happy to include her in their daily lives and give her the attention she craves.

She’s already come so far and is ready to bring joy, fun, and a whole lot of personality to her forever home.

Her Story

Cookie has had a difficult journey. She was dumped in a field while heavily pregnant, but sadly all her puppies were stillborn. When we found her, she had bruising around her abdomen, suggesting she may have been kicked in the stomach multiple times.

• People with children under 10 years old

• Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours in a working day
