Meet Edgar - Adopted
Introducing Edgar!
Edgar went into foster in Cornwall on the 13th October 2025.
Meet Edgar, a gorgeous, big-hearted boy who is currently in foster in Cornwall and is a year old. He is living happily with another dog and young children and has shown himself to be a very sweet, gentle soul.
Edgar has some areas to work on. Some separation anxiety and learning how to cope when new people come into the home. When visitors first arrive, he may bark initially, but if he is ignored and allowed to approach in his own time to have a sniff and investigate, he quickly settles. Once comfortable, he is affectionate and very loving. There are no signs of aggression at all β this behaviour is purely fear-based anxiety that eases with calm, confident handling. He does require a quiet home with a family, that will be home most of the time and will have the patience to build up the time heβs left on his own.
He is good with children, though a little clumsy due to his size. Edgar is built like a gazelle and has impressive jumping abilities (including clearing a 4-foot stair gate π). Because of this, a home with children aged 10+ would be best. He actually seems to prefer children to adults.
Edgar is a cracking boy β very sweet, affectionate and loving. He simply needs time, patience, structure and understanding to help him feel secure. In the right home, he will make a truly wonderful companion.
If you feel you could offer Edgar the stability and love he deserves, please get in touch π
He really is a special boy
