Ember - Adopted

This is Ember:

Ember went into foster in Cornwall on the 9th February 2026.

Ember suffers from epilepsy and an autoimmune disorder. She will need a very special home. All medication will be provided.

Her Story

Ember appeared one day at the gate of a run down shelter in a village we work in. She bore the marks of a chain around her neck. We assumed that her owner died and the relatives threw her out from the yard.

Old and sick, she was not useful to anyone. As a big girl, she was seen as a burden; people from countryside hate the big dogs who eat a lot.

Freedom Angels regret we cannot consider applications for Ember from

• People under 25 years old

• People with children under 10 years old

• Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours in a working day
