Lizy - Adopted
Here’s Lizy:
Lizy went into foster in Northamptonshire on 24th November 2025.
Little Lizy, weighing just 5kg, is a delicate darling with long Bambi-like legs and wonderfully soft fur. Gentle, loving and deeply affectionate, she arrived full of excitement and settled in straight away with her foster family, including Lollipop, another FAR Angel.
Lizy has been a joy from the very beginning. She learned to walk beautifully on a lead within her very first half-hour walk. She sleeps soundly, eats well, and is clean in the house. She toilets in the garden and will pace gently to let you know when she needs to go out.
She travels extremely well and has already enjoyed seaside trips, café visits, a pub outing, bus rides, and even a caravan stay—where she slept peacefully.
One of her favourite things is doing happy roly-polys when she’s excited, especially if it means she’ll get a gentle tummy rub. Equally, she settles quickly and will snooze contentedly when you pause for a coffee or sit down to watch television.
Lizy loves to gaze into her foster mum’s eyes as if to say “I love you,” a moment that never fails to bring a tear to her eye. She always replies, “I love you, darling,” and Lizy understands every word.
All of this progress has happened in just a week and a half. Lizy is bright, willing and clearly very capable; there is no doubt she will take to basic training with the same ease she has taken to everything else in her young life of 1 year and 9 months.
She is adored by her foster family.
She is, quite simply, an absolute darling.

Her Story
Lizy was found starving and scared in a field near the home of one of our volunteers.
Freedom Angels regret we cannot consider applications for Lizy from:
People under 25 years old
People with children under 10 years old
Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden
Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours in a working day
