Hi I’m Melody and I’m a gorgeous little girl with three legs, a big heart and a lot of determination.
You may have seen my story on the freedom angels page - somebody tied me and my brothers in a bag and threw me away but luckily we were all saved. Unfortunately I needed an operation to remove my front right leg but this doesn’t slow me down too much, and I’m already hopping around like a little rabbit.
I love to play with my foster brothers, I love to play with my teddies and chew narla bones, I love to go on walks in my bag and get out to stretch my legs to build up my strength. I love cuddles and I’m very happy being picked up if you’re gentle. I get the zoomies and you won’t believe how fast I go.
I love to eat and have discovered cheese and I love to drink LOTS of cold water !! I’m still learning commands because I’m only a puppy really at around 7-8 months old - but I am house trained, I will walk with my lead and harness on and I didn’t have one single accident with my foster mum and dad, and when they let me in the garden I don’t need a lead - I do my business and come straight back in!!
I’m really happy with other small and medium dogs, my best friend in Romania was a cat and I’m really good around children too.
I will sleep all night in my bed downstairs but sometimes I get a little bit scared and cry - just let me know you’re there and I’ll go back to sleep. I’m very very chilled and you can leave me alone for a little while if you have to go out.
I do much better on carpet and rugs than on slippy wood floors.
I would be perfect for someone who doesn’t want to do big walks and is looking for a best friend to cuddle and play with because I am full of love.
