Nushie - Adopted

Gentle Nushie needs somewhere she can feel safe.
Nushie went into foster in Dorset on 23rd June 2025. While it’s still early days, she’s already settling into the comforts of a safe, loving environment — sleeping peacefully for the first time in a soft, warm bed, free from fear or harm.
This lovely girl is around 13kg and has shown a calm, easygoing nature. She enjoys her meals but isn’t greedy, is relaxed around the resident dogs, and has shown no interest in the chickens pottering around the garden.
Although Nushie’s past wasn’t kind (see below), she’s shown remarkable trust and isn’t fearful of the kind men in her foster home. She’s already starting to show affection to her foster mum, which speaks volumes about her courage and capacity to love.
She hasn’t been walked on a lead before, so gentle training in the garden will begin once she’s had time to fully decompress from her journey.
Now, Nushie is looking for a calm, patient forever home where she can continue to heal, grow in confidence, and discover the joy of being truly loved.
Her Story
Nushie belonged to a drunkard who regularly beat her. She was kept outside, and had given up on life. Our volunteer begged and begged the owner to let us take Nushie, but he always refused. One day, the FAR star shone on this sad little girl and we were able to take her. We are so happy she is coming, and we have the opportunity to give her a better life.
