Meet Polo - Adopted

Introducing Polo:

Polo went into foster in Oxfordshire on 13th October 2025.

Polo is a 1 year old bundle of joy with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging!

Polo loves going for walks, playing with other dogs, meeting new people and has an outstanding recall. Polo has learnt how to sit and can even do it on occasion without a treat which is amazing as he did not know what sit meant when he first arrived with me. He is eager to please and a quick learner for a yummy treat. His favorite things include belly rubs, walks, treats, snuggles on the sofa , and meeting new friends — both human and furry including cats!

Polo would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of affection and regular exercise, he would love a canine companion preferably an older dog to play and learn from. He’s great with other dogs and does well with most people but sometimes needs a bit of reassurance from his human. Polo loves birds and can sometimes chase them on a walk, he will come back to you when called. He needs reassurance and his human should be confident when coming across new things like a random bag of clothes left outside a charity shop.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with unconditional love, Polo might just be your perfect match.

Polo is still young and active, he needs positive training and a lot of walks and mental stimulation, if he has that your evenings will be filled with sleepy dog cuddles and kisses.

He has the occasional accident but normally through excitement on the way to the door. He sleeps in his crate at night, all night without a sound. He also travels well in the boot of the car when we head out with his furry K9 pals.

Polo is amazing. He isn't huge but heart is so full of love for a forever family and home.

His Story

He was saved with his brother by a local man. He took them into his countryside yard and vaccinated them, but he only lives in the countryside in the summer time so he asked our volunteer for our help. He didn’t want them to be alone in the winter time. Both the boys were so good, and we were glad to be able to help them.
