Sofia was another dog dumped at the junkyard.

The lady at the yard took her in and she had been stuck there for the last year. She had not been vaccinated or tested for parasites. We met her on our visit to Braila and took her to the vet. Fortunately she tested negative for the tick diseases and for Brucellosis and Leishmania.

Sofia is now in foster in Cheshire. Here is what her foster parent has to say about her so far:

Sofia has settled in well and growing in confidence and has ventured out of the kitchen and looking around. She's met the cat and neither are bothered by each other. She's getting on well with Karl our other dog too. She's been great over night and no accidents. She's very gentle a loves a cuddle.

Sofia comes with full rescue back up. Adoption donation and home check apply.

Please note, we are unable to consider for adoption for Sofia:

  • People under 25 years old

  • People with children under 10 years old

  • Homes without direct access to a secure garden

  • Families with un-neutered dogs

  • Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours.

Freedom Angels Romania regret that we can only place dogs and puppies in England, South and West Wales, and the Islands around the South Coast, due to logistical issues.
