Introducing Toto.

Toto is a one-year-old Romanian rescue who’s already stolen our hearts. He settled in beautifully with our resident rescue dog and they were playing together from the very first evening!
He’s a smart little soul who’s quickly picked up his manners and is eager to please. Toto loves his walks and playtime, but afterwards he’s perfectly happy to curl up and snooze for a few hours. He sleeps soundly through the night in his bed and is calm and polite around the house — he’ll even sit and wait patiently at doors and gates.
He’s been left for short periods and is learning to be comfortable with that — it’s a work in progress, but he’s doing well. He travels well too, whether harnessed in the front seat or crated in the back.
Toto already knows “sit” and “watch me,” and his recall is coming along brilliantly on a longline. He enjoys two walks a day and is excellent on the lead. As dog walkers, we’ve introduced him to a wide variety of dogs, and he’s been great with all of them.
He previously lived with cats and got along wonderfully — even snuggling up for naps with them. He absolutely loves people and has been gentle and sweet with our young grandchildren.
Toto gives the most fabulous, gentle cuddles and is a real soft teddy bear. He doesn’t chew but loves to carry his toys around.
We truly adore him and believe he’d make a fantastic family dog. He could live happily with or without another dog, as long as he gets chances to play and socialise with canine pals. He’s still learning how to greet new dogs calmly, but he’s nearly there!
Toto has just celebrated his very first birthday — he’s a gentle, loving boy who deserves a very special home.

His Story Toto had an owner in Romania but was completely neglected and left to roam the streets. Very dangerous for a smaller dog. Our volunteer was finally able to persuade the owner to give Toto to us.
