Poor Duke is spending his days in Kennels.

When Duke and his siblings could no longer stay in the shelter they had lived in all their lives we had no choice but to bring them to our kennels here in Wiltshire. We could not let them be abandoned on the streets of Romania.

Duke is definitely the most confident of the three siblings. He will happily come to you if chicken is involved and he quickly learnt how to walk on a lead. He really does enjoy his walks now with lots of sniffing all the new smells. He is now waiting at the gate of his kennel when he hears our volunteers.

He is certainly a very happy dog but can still be fearful of the human hand. He will on occasions cower when a hand come towards him but gradually he is beginning to understand human hands are for strokes and cuddles. He never ever show aggression.

Duke will be a wonderful family pet with a family who is ready and able to continue working with him and showing him that the world and particularly humans are positives in his life. He has spent too much time behind bars. Please consider him.

Duke comes with full rescue back up. Adoption donation and home check apply.
