Meet Lessy

Introducing Lessy - beautiful inside and out:

Lessy went into foster in Buckinghamshire on 24th November 2025.

From her foster family:

Lessy feels like she's been here with us forever. When she first arrived she was was very scared and unsure, fast forward a month and she's ruling the house!

She is a gorgeous dog with a lively and very sweet nature. Indoors she loves her naps, picks her favourite bed and snuggles in, loves belly rubs on the sofa and having a fuss. Walks great on lead/ harness and waits patiently at the front door. She is getting used to busier roads now and doing really well.

She can be a bit unsure of other dogs outside , especially if they are boisterous and run up to her, but this is being worked on and is improving. She seems interested in cats and will try to chase. She is great in the house, sleeps well at night and house trained.

Think she could either be only dog or with another dog in her forever home. She is beautiful with a sprinkle of daftness and will be a super dog for someone.

Her Story

Lessy was dumped together with her 5 puppies in our volunteer’s village. Villagers were kicking and throwing stones at them to make them go away. They then complained to the council house. We knew then that the dogcatchers would come so we took all 6 of them🤦‍♀️.

• People with children under 10 years old

• Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours in a working day
