Meet Happy & Loving Lucia

Meet Our Beautiful Girl

Lucia is one of the most affectionate and friendly dogs you could ever be lucky enough to meet. She adores people - every human is a new best friend. The moment you say hello, she flops over for belly rubs with the biggest smile on her face!

Her Story

Lucia is a true survivor ready for her forever home. At four years old, she’s already known more hardship than most dogs should in a lifetime.

It’s hard to think about how she spent her first three-and-a-half years. Lucia was chained to a tree in a remote graveyard in Romania, where she had only a rusty oil can for shelter. She spent her days pacing in endless circles tracing the same path over and over again, and was fed only scraps of bread and bones. The only water she had was stagnant and filthy.

With the help of some kind-hearted humans, we were able to rescue her and bring her to the UK. Six months on she’s in foster in Oxfordshire and starting to live the life she deserves!

Things to know about Lucia:

  • She has never shown an ounce of aggression and lives for cuddles and attention

  • She has been very reactive around other dogs, but she’s working hard and has made great progress

  • She can be strong on the lead, but is improving with consistent training

With continued patience and support, she’ll only get better.

She needs a special family who will giver her all the love, structure, and security she haws missed out on. She’s desperate to bond with someone and to finally feel what it means to be safe and cherished.

She’s been through so much, and yet she’s still full of love. Could you be the one to give her the happy ending she so deeply deserves?

Lucia comes with full rescue back up.  Home check and adoption donation will apply.  She is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.  Tested negative for all known parasite diseases, Leishmaniasis, and Brucellosis.
