Please consider Monty
Monty is being surrendered so desperately needs a true forever
Monty is a Terrier cross with a happy, affectionate nature. He is very loving with his family and enjoys being part of everyday life. Monty especially loves being off lead on walks, where he can socialise and make new friends, both human and canine.
Monty is an extremely active dog who will need a very active home. He thrives on adventure and would love a family who can include him in regular outings. He will need at least a couple of hours of exercise each day and particularly enjoys opportunities to run freely and even go for a swim. He would benefit from access to a secure garden where he can burn off energy.
On the lead, Monty can be enthusiastic and tends to pull, and he may become overexcited around people. With consistent training and guidance, this is something that can be improved over time.
At home, Monty is generally well behaved and settles nicely with his family. He does have a tendency to bark when people come into the home, which is driven by excitement rather than aggression. This will need some ongoing training, but with patience and the right approach, we believe he has great potential to improve.
Monty would benefit from continued, consistent training in a new home, and with the right support, he will make a wonderful, loyal, and fun-loving companion.
