๐Ÿพ Meet Myla โ€“ A Calm, Loving Soul

Let us introduce Myla.

Myla, sister to Anne, is now in foster in East Yorkshire.

She is a gentle and laid-back girl with a peaceful presence that brings calm wherever she goes. Sheโ€™s clean in the house, happy to be left for 2โ€“3 hours, and is an easygoing companion in day-to-day life.

๐Ÿถ Gets Along Well with Other Dogs

Myla gets on wonderfully with her fosterโ€™s small Jack Russell Terrier and two visiting daycare dogs (all female), with no issues at all. She would be a lovely addition to a home with other calm, friendly dogs.

๐ŸŒธ Gentle Soul

A little shy with new people and unfamiliar situations, Myla responds beautifully to soft words and a kind approach. Sheโ€™s beginning to enjoy being brushed and is gradually becoming more affectionate as she learns to trust.

While still cautious at times, Myla is more approachable than her sister Anne and is already showing signs of blossoming into a confident, loving companion.

๐Ÿ›‹ A Quiet Companion

Myla enjoys simply being near her people โ€” content to relax and watch the world go by. Sheโ€™s the perfect match for someone who appreciates a quiet, observant, and loyal friend.

๐Ÿก Ideal Home

Myla would thrive in a calm and patient home with:

โ€ข Gentle, understanding humans

โ€ข Possibly another friendly, relaxed dog

โ€ข A peaceful environment where she can continue to grow in confidence

With trust, Mylaโ€™s quiet devotion will shine through โ€” and sheโ€™ll make a truly special addition to the right home.

Could Myla be the missing piece in your family?

History

Myla was living in one of the worst private shelters we have ever seen. She was taken from the kill shelter with the rest of her litter and then left here. The shelter offered the dogs no socilaisation or enrichment. No heating in the winter and no respite from the heat in the summer. They were left with nothing to live for, After meeting them we made a commitment to them and now we are so happy that Myla and her sister Anne are finally here.

Myla comes with full rescue back up. Adoption donation and home check apply.

Please note, we are unable to consider for adoption for Myla:

  • People under 25 years old

  • People with children under 10 years old

  • Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden

  • Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours in a working day
