This is happy Nellie!
Nellie went into foster in Bedfordshire on 13th October 2025.
A little bundle of love — that’s our sweet Nellie! All she wants is to love and be loved. She’ll follow you everywhere and would happily spend her days as your shadow. Nellie is the perfect mix of lap dog and playmate, always ready for cuddles but never one to turn down a bit of fun.
She’s making up for her lost puppyhood and loving every minute of it! Fully house trained and able to be left for short periods, Nellie has settled beautifully. She gets along well with other dogs, though we’re not sure about cats yet as she hasn’t met any.
Nellie absolutely adores people — especially children who want to play with her. She’s full of energy, affection, and joy, and she’s now ready to find her forever home with a family who can keep up with her zest for life.

Her Story
Nellie was found VERY pregnant on the field, full of ticks and fleas. Her puppies were very sick and did not survive. She also needed surgery on a wound to her neck. We believe she had been bitten by another dog.
Her nose has a burn. This tells us she did have an owner in the past. In Romania, many believe burning their nose treats sickness.
