Meet Venice-Adoption Pending
Here’s Venice:
Venice went into foster in Oxfordshire on 13th November 2025.
From Her Foster Family
Although Venice has only been with us a short time, she has settled in really well.
She can be a little shy at first and wary of new people, however within a day or two she will be coming over to you for a cuddle. She's also very food motivated which wins her over! We think she would be very easy to teach some fun tricks to.
Her playful side has started to come out, and she loves having zooms around the garden. You just need to be careful not to leave any slippers unattended as she likes to sneak these off to her bed! She also loves her squeaky toys and will happily keep herself entertained with them.
Venice walks nicely on the lead, and has shown no reactivity towards cats and other small furries when out and about. She does occasionally stop if she is unsure of something, but give her a couple of seconds and some gentle encouragement and she happily walks along again.
She has had no accidents in the house and seems to be house trained already.
Venice sleeps in her own bed at night, and most of the day in between walks and playing.
Overall Venice is a joy to have in the home, and will be a great little companion for someone who wants a bouncy, energetic dog to have adventures with.
Her Story
Venice was found wandering in some farm fields, far from any housing or buildings. We believe she was driven and dumped there. A truck driver had to stop by the side of the road and she approached him. He kindly picked her up and brought her to our vet.

Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden
Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours in a working day
