Cooper has been with a loving family in Somerset whose circumstances have changed so dramatically they can no longer keep him.
Here is what Mum has to say about him:
Cooper is a delightful young dog; he is full of energy and boundless love. He loves his food and high value treats (hotdogs!). He is a clever boy picking up training habits quickly and with a curiosity that is spellbinding. He adores his walks and loves to socialise with other dogs.
As he hits his teenage years his recall has not been ideal. Something that he will absolutely grow out of but right now he is pushing his boundaries! He also does pull on the lead when he is excited to go on a walk, but I have been training him not to do this with treats. Cooper is completely house trained and a clean boy.
He does display some resource guarding at home, but when out he is utterly charming to dogs and humans alike, loving to lean in and be stroked and have cuddles.
Cooper does not like cats!
All in all, he is a lovely, beautiful dog, who needs some support around his resource guarding the home, and some recal work. We would recomend a home with people who work from home, willing to provide regular exercise, he has not lived with children and is slightly cautious of those he has met on his walks - therefore a home with older children would be advised.
