He is currently stays at a professional boarding kennel during the day where his owner works. Donut mixes confidently with dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. He enjoys their company and plays beautifully, but like some enthusiastic youngsters, he can sometimes become a little too excited. When his excitement levels rise, he needs a handler who can recognise when it’s time for a short break to help him settle before returning to play.

At home, he is happiest when life has structure. He finds it difficult to switch himself off, so regular rest periods help him relax and process everything around him. A predictable routine really allows him to thrive.

This clever lad is bright, eager to learn and loves having a job to do. He will flourish with someone who enjoys training, enrichment and building a strong partnership with their dog. He is looking for an experienced owner who understands that, like many intelligent, energetic dogs, he sometimes needs a little help managing his excitement and impulses.

His Story

Donut was so happy to be adopted but sadly only after 3 months in what he believed to be his forever home he is now being evicted. His owners are expecting a baby we have a deadline to find him somewhere by the end of August.

• People under 25 years old

• People with children under 14 years old

• Homes without direct access to a private and secure garden

• Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours in a working day

Tested for known parasite conditions. Also for Leishmaniasis. Pursuant to government regulations all dogs have their blood tested here in the UK for Brucellosis prior to entry and enter the UK within 30 days of the blood being drawn. All dogs are microchipped.
