Meet Lika - RESERVED

Hello Lika

Lika went into foster in Leicestershire on the 23rd March 2026. She has since moved to Buckinghamshire.

Lika is quite simply one of the happiest, most loveable puppies you'll ever meet. She wakes up every day with a wagging tail, a huge smile, and the enthusiasm to make friends with everyone she meets. She absolutely adores people, loves other dogs, and is incredibly affectionate. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love, Lika is your girl.

Although Lika is deaf, it doesn't hold her back in the slightest. Before fostering her, we'd never lived with a deaf dog, and we've been amazed at how little difference it makes. Training is just the same as any other puppy, it simply uses hand signals instead of voice commands. Lika is clever, eager to learn, and is already getting really good at checking in with us on walks so we can give her a hand signal and reward her. She takes everything in her stride and approaches life with confidence and joy.

Lika is fully toilet trained, sleeps soundly in her crate all night, and settles well when left for short periods, as long as she has her canine companion nearby. She would thrive in a home with another friendly dog who can be her buddy, help build her confidence with being independent, enjoy a game of chase, and gently teach her puppy manners when she's getting a little overexcited.

Like any puppy, Lika loves to play. She adores chew toys, loves a game of chase, and is always ready for cuddles once she's tired herself out. Her cheerful nature is infectious, and it's impossible not to smile when she's around.

Lika is looking for a family who will see her for who she is: not a deaf puppy, but a happy, clever, affectionate little girl who just happens to communicate a little differently. In return, she'll fill your home with love, laughter, and endless tail wags.

Lika is 15kgs

She is now in Oxfordshire

Her Story

Lika was found abandoned in the coutryside with her 5 siblings and her mother. A friend of our volunteer asked for our help. A vet took 5 of the siblings and they are now in a private shelter. We took Lika. As yet we have been unable to secure the mother.
