Vixen came into foster in Dorset on 10th May 2025.

She is an absolute sweetheart — gentle, affectionate, and already showing just how special she is. She’s getting along beautifully with her foster family’s dog, quickly learning the boundaries of playtime, and she’s shown very little interest in the resident cat. ✅
This clever girl is nearly housetrained, with only the occasional accident (right by the back door — she’s trying her best!). She loves to be near her people, happily settling in whatever room they’re in, but she’s not demanding — just quietly content.
Vixen enjoys pottering around the garden (though she’s a bit too curious about the flowers!), and she’s eating well. We’re still working on “waiting” at mealtimes — but she’s only just arrived in the UK, and already making great progress.
She’s been out on short walks, but the world outside is still a little scary. However, in just a few days, she’s gone from hesitating at the door to sniffing the street with growing curiosity. With a little time — and maybe a doggy friend for confidence — she’ll be strutting her stuff in no time!
Vixen is calm at night, doesn’t bark or whine, and has even been fine when left alone for short periods. She’s a resilient little pup who just needs love, patience, and the safety of a forever home to truly shine. 🌟

Her Story
Vixen’s mum was found heavily pregnant on the edge of town close to the junkyard. It was just days before Christmas and snowing heavily. The owner of the junkyard provided a shelter for her and on Christmas Eve she gave birth to 3 puppies. Two girls and a boy. Sadly the boy lost his life to Parvo. Vixen’s sister and mum are now all in foster in the U.K.
