Meet Zolly

Introducing Zolly

Zolly went into foster in Essex on the 1st September 2025.

From his foster family:

Zolly might be new to our home, but this sweet little soul has already left paw prints all over our hearts. When he arrived, he was shy and unsure – but it didn’t take long for his bouncy, bubbly puppy personality to shine through!

Zolly is an affectionate little guy who loves a fuss but isn’t demanding about it. He’s just as happy curling up on his own with a toy as he is snuggling up with you for cuddles. He’s been a total gem with his three foster siblings (two large ladies and a smaller boy), and holds his own in playtime – even giving our American Bully a run for her money!

He’s also been wonderful with children – he’s met and played with a 7-year-old and older kids and was a gentle, playful little boy the entire time. He’s got that perfect puppy energy without being overwhelming.

He’s a smart cookie too. Within a day he was using puppy pads, and by the next, he’d mastered going outside for the toilet. While he might still use a pad late at night, he’s doing brilliantly with his house training. He’s also picked up on the fact that harness = walkies, and he’s a dream on the lead – no pulling, just curious sniffs and tail wags.

Zolly has a charming little habit of collecting treasures (shoes, toys, or whatever you accidentally leave out) and stashing them in his “pup cave” – a cozy hideout under the bed. Don’t worry though, he’s not a chewer (unless it's cardboard – that’s his guilty pleasure!); he just thinks it's a fun game.

He eats well alongside the other dogs and might hover hopefully for leftovers (especially if there’s chicken involved!). But above all, he’s a gentle, goofy, and loving little boy with so much joy to give.

If you're looking for a cuddly, clever, and endlessly sweet companion – who’s great with dogs and kids – Zolly is your boy. He’s ready to find his forever family… could that be you?

His Story

Zolly was spotted by the side of the road — so skinny, covered in ticks, terrified, and hiding deep in the bushes. It took a lot of patience and kindness from our volunteer to gain his trust and finally bring him to safety. Now he’s starting a brand-new chapter where he’ll never have to be so scared again. 💕
