Meet Scrappy

Scrappy went into foster in East Yorkshire on 19th October 2026.

Please keep your eyes peeled for updates and photos to come.

His Story

Our volunteer in Brăila was alerted to a heartbreaking situation: the owner of two elderly dogs had died, and the family who inherited the house no longer wanted them. While our volunteers were in Romania in July for Spayathon, they went to meet the dogs.

They were in a terrible state — both needed dental work, feeding up, and their vaccinations. But despite everything they’d been through, they are the sweetest, most wonderful dogs. Doobie was ready to travel first, and he has now been adopted. Now it is Scrappy’s turn
