Wonderful Walter
Walter came from a litter of 5 dumped in a field.
Hi everyone I’m Walter but my mum calls me Gunner. I’m a young pup with a zest for all things new. I love walks but can pull a bit, so will initially need someone who is able to control that to continue my lead training. I’m not too good at riding in cars especially on long journeys or bumpy roads. I love playing with my foster brother and more than anything I enjoy cuddles on the floor, sofa or bed...well anywhere I can get one. It doesn’t matter where really. I love my ears played with and I do sit nicely and will reach out with my paw to request my tummy rubbed. I have been working very hard with my Foster mum on toilet training. She puts me out every hour regardless of if I go or not, and I’m getting used to letting her know I need to go by walking to the door then back to her. I’m looking for someone who can spend time with me. I would be better off with older children if there are children in the family because I have a tendency to hoover up whatever I can get near regardless of whether it’s been given to me or sat on a plate within reach. I do think this will subside with time but I do know what it is like to be hungry. It's hard to forget. I am a little cautious with new people but if left alone to settle then I will come around. I really don’t get on with cats so a home without cats would be great.Please consider Walter. He is the only one of his litter who has not found his home.
