Meet Chance
Chance is a loving, quirky companion looking for his forever home
Chance went into foster in Surrey on 23rd June 2025.
From this foster mum:
Chance is a small-to-medium-sized dog with a soft white coat, a cheeky personality, and the cutest little Mohawk. He’s full of character, very affectionate, and ready to find his forever home.
He walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys off-lead time at the park. Chance is muzzle trained and when he is off lead he does wear his muzzle. That said, he's friendly with most dogs and people—especially if they have a dog with them!
Chance currently lives with a resident dog and gets along wonderfully with her.
At home, he’s loving, cuddly, and calm. He enjoys a good walk followed by a nap (sometimes even before breakfast is finished!) and will happily flop over in front of you for belly rubs. He’s food-motivated, learns quickly, and does an adorable little spin when asked to sit.
He does best with slow introductions to new people in the home and builds trust over time. Once he knows you, he’s loyal, doting, and will look at you like you’re his whole world.
We’ve grown very attached to Chance, and while it’ll be hard to say goodbye, we’re excited to see him find the love he deserves. If you ever need someone to care for him while you’re away, we’d happily take him back in a heartbeat.
If you think Chance could be the one for you, get in touch to arrange a meet-and-greet. He’s ready to steal your heart. 🐶❤️
His Story
Tragically, he’s spent his entire life in a cage with nothing to call his own and little hope for change. When we first met him, he was so terrified he wet himself. But with a little time, gentle words, and deep rubs, he began to relax, even leaning in to nuzzle our volunteer’s neck. We cried as we placed him back in his bleak cell, but we made a promise: we would come back for him.
