Meet Gingerella
Gingerella went into foster in Suffolk on the 5th October 2026.
Please keep your eyes peeled for photos and updates to come.
Her Story
It was the last day of our spay campaign in July. After days of hard work, we were tired and exhausted, both physically and mentally. To thank everyone for their efforts, we decided to take the whole team out for a quick dinner, but on the way back we needed to stop by one of our volunteers' apartments.
That's when we saw her. Gingerella was sitting outside in the car park, quietly waiting, as if she knew someone would come.
We couldn't leave her there, so we scooped her up and took her with us. The next morning, on our way to the airport, we stopped at the vet. That's when we learned she was pregnant.
Thank goodness we found her when we did. Had we not made that unplanned stop, Gingerella and her unborn puppies would have faced an uncertain future on the streets. Instead, she is now safe, cared for, and ready to begin the life she has always deserved.
