Luigi went into foster in Wiltshire on the 15th June 2026.
Luigi is a truly lovely little dog with a gentle, affectionate nature. Since arriving in foster care, he has settled in beautifully and is proving to be a wonderful companion who simply enjoys being close to his people.
He loves his walks and happily greets both people and dogs while out and about. He has met a variety of dogs and is generally polite, although he can occasionally have a little grumble with larger dogs. This has never developed into any aggression, and he is easily redirected.
Luigi is incredibly affectionate and enjoys human company. He thrives on fuss and attention and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend. Food is certainly one of his favourite things, which makes him eager to engage and a pleasure to spend time with.
He sleeps soundly through the night on his own bed in his foster carers’ bedroom and is doing very well with his toilet training, regularly toileting both in the garden and whilst out on walks.
At the moment, Luigi hasn’t shown much interest in toys, preferring instead to spend time with his humans. He can be a little cautious when meeting men for the first time, but with a little patience and a kind approach, he quickly relaxes and is soon happy in their company.
Luigi has also been to the groomers, where he happily enjoyed a bath, although he would prefer not to have his feet handled too much. Following a routine visit to the vet to have his anal glands emptied, he has been much more comfortable.
Luigi is a charming little dog with so much love to give. He would suit a home looking for a devoted companion who will enjoy walks, quiet time together and plenty of affection. In return, Luigi will reward his new family with unwavering loyalty and endless love.

Tested for known parasite conditions. Also for Leishmaniasis. Pursuant to government regulations all dogs have their blood tested here in the UK for Brucellosis prior to entry and enter the UK within 30 days of the blood being drawn. All dogs are microchipped.
