May is a gentle 5-year-old girl who weighs just 10 kg. She’s currently in Romania, but she’s all set to travel – she has her passport and a reservation on the bus. All she needs now is a destination… and a loving family to call her own.

Her Story

May once had a home, but when her beloved owner passed away, the children who inherited the house cruelly turned her out onto the streets. Still loyal and heartbroken, May tried to return — only to be met with violence. She was struck in the face with a stick, leaving one of her eyes so badly damaged it had to be removed.

But May’s spirit is unbroken. She’s full of love, energy, and affection – both for humans and other dogs. Despite the pain she’s endured, she’s still incredibly sweet and trusting.

Now she just needs a second chance.

  • Homes where the dog will have to be left alone more than 4 hours in a working day
