Say hello to Parker!

Parker went into foster in Cheshire on 24th November 2025.

Dear Future Family,

My name is Parker, and I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself.

I haven’t always had the easiest start in life. Some humans in my past were not very kind to me, so meeting new people can feel a little bit scary at first. I’m not the sort of dog who runs straight over with a wagging tail the moment I meet someone new. I just need a little time and space to realise that I’m safe. Once I know that someone is kind, I start to relax and show my lovely personality.

Because of this, I’m hoping to find a patient and understanding home where people will give me the time I need and introduce me slowly to new people and situations.

I’ve been with my current carers for a while now, and I’ve grown so much during that time. I’m still learning and there are a few things I need to keep working on, but I’m getting better all the time.

One thing I absolutely love is my walks. Exploring the world outside makes me very happy! I currently live in a house with cats and sometimes I try to play with them, so I could live with dog-savvy cats who understand playful dogs like me.

I would probably be happiest in a home with older children, or maybe no children, as little ones can make me a bit unsure. When I meet new people I might bark at first, but if they’re patient and maybe offer a few tasty treats, I soon realise they’re friends and not strangers.

When I’m not playing with my toys or having a nice nap, I really enjoy fuss and cuddles. I already know some clever things too — I can sit, give paw, lie down, and I can almost roll over… although sometimes it’s more of a dramatic flop onto my side!

At heart I’m really just a big puppy who is still learning about the world. What I need most is someone kind who will keep helping me with my training and give me the love and patience I deserve.

If you think you could be that special person, I would love to meet you.

Love,

Parker 🐾
