Meet Pip

A Sweet Soul Looking for a Calm, Loving Home

Pip went into foster in Gloucestershire on January 2023.

We’re looking for a very special home for Pip, a gentle, affectionate little dog who’s been much loved but now needs to find a new place to call home.

Pip has been with her current owner for over 8 months, but due to an unexpected and progressive hip condition, her carer is no longer able to give her the exercise and attention she needs. This hasn’t been an easy decision—Pip is a dearly loved companion—but it’s being made out of love and in Pip’s best interest.

💖 About Pip

Pip is sweet-natured, cuddly, and adores nothing more than curling up next to you on the sofa. She enjoys her food, her treats, and her walks—and she’s particularly fond of chasing birds around the garden! She’s sociable with other dogs (as long as they aren’t too boisterous), and she’s generally indifferent to cats.

She can be a little vocal when someone comes to the front door, but this has improved as she’s settled and grown in confidence. She’s quiet in the garden and enjoys simply pottering about or relaxing in the sunshine. At night, she sleeps peacefully on the landing, just outside the bedroom.

Pip is a sensitive soul—jumpy at sudden noises or movements—and thrives best in a calm, quiet environment. Though she can be nervous in new or noisy situations, she has also shown resilience—she settled straight away in her current home, even with fireworks going off outside on her first night.

🏡 The Home She Needs

Pip is looking for a peaceful, adult-only home where someone is around most of the time. She finds great comfort in routine and feels safest when her days are predictable and calm. Ideally, she would suit an active retired couple or individual who can spend plenty of time with her and offer her the companionship she craves.

She’s not a fan of being left alone for long periods. While she’s managed short stretches with patience and a few treats, she’s definitely happiest with people nearby—or possibly a calm dog companion to help her feel secure.

🌟 In Summary:

• Sweet, affectionate, and loves cuddles

• Enjoys her walks, food, and garden time

• Good with calm dogs, indifferent to cats

• Nervous with loud noises and sudden movements

• Needs a quiet, stable home with a reliable routine

• Best suited to someone home most of the time

• Would thrive with an active, retired couple or individual

Pip has made great progress and is now showing more of her playful personality. She has so much love to give and just needs the right home where she can truly settle.

If you think you could offer Pip the calm, loving home she deserves, please get in touch. She will make the most loyal and affectionate companion—and a little space on your sofa will never be empty again.

Pip’s adoption fee is £300.
