Meet Alvina

Say hello to gorgeous Alvina!

Alvina went into foster in West Midlands on 9th March 2026.

Alvina is a beautiful girl who loves nothing more than a nice long walk. She’s great on the lead and enjoys getting out and about just as much as she loves a good cuddle at home.

She’s a playful dog and would likely benefit from living with another dog, as she enjoys both playtime and having canine company when left alone. That said, she’s just as happy going out for walks on her own or with others.

Alvina does get quite vocal when it’s time for a walk and can be very excited when you return home—she’s always pleased to see you!

When meeting new dogs, she can be a little unsure at first and may be on her guard, but she settles once she gets to know them. She’s currently living happily with four other dogs.

She absolutely loves people and would make a wonderful companion for a family member. She would also make an amazing agility dog—she’s incredibly quick and can jump for fun.

It’s now Alvina’s time, and she’s ready to find her forever home where she can truly shine

Alvina recently has a cherry eye but this has now been repaired by the vet. She has also had a haircut. Her coat was very matted.

Her Story

She was ‘acquired’ from a yard. A lady had bought her from a homeless person and intended to use her for breeding to make money. She was being kept in a yard with a broken down kennel to sleep in.
