Meet Brino - Reserved
Brino went into foster in Suffolk on the 10th August 2026.
Brino is a very happy little chap. He’s grown a little during his time in foster care, though he’s still small. He has an inquisitive mind, and nothing really escapes his notice.
He loves his walks and has been introduced to the lead, which he wears via a harness — he’s very good about having it put on, though if it’s set down before it’s fastened, he’ll happily steal it and make a run for it. He’s also been known to lead other dogs by their leads while he waits to go out.
House training is going well, with just the odd puppy accident along the way. He’s been crate trained since arriving in the UK, and often chooses to nap in there for some quiet space of his own, even with the door open.
Brino has made lots of canine friends since being introduced to other dogs, and gets on especially well with children — he’s lived alongside adolescent and primary-school-aged children in his foster home, and delighted a group of little ones he met in the park this week. He’s particularly gentle with young children.
He loves his food (and can often be found double-checking the other dog’s bowl for any leftovers), and has a beloved duck toy that he sleeps with every night. He likes cats too, though the feeling isn’t quite mutual with the elderly cat at his foster home, who isn’t keen on his invitations to play.
Brino has bags of energy but tends to “flop” after a good walk, which has earned him the nickname “noodle puppy” at home. He’s a real character — full of beans, and full of love for children, other dogs, walks, food, and play.
He’d bring joy to any home, but would especially thrive in a busy household with children who can match his energy with plenty of play, fuss, and attention.
His Story
Four siblings (Biona, Binou, Brino, and Benty) were found wandering with their mum Betsey in an area close to the junkyard (an area known for people dumping their dogs). Betsey definitely had been owned before, but is now adopted here in the UK.

Tested for known parasite conditions. Also for Leishmaniasis. Pursuant to government regulations all dogs have their blood tested here in the UK for Brucellosis prior to entry and enter the UK within 30 days of the blood being drawn. All dogs are microchipped.
