Meet Gorgeous Gwenie

Gwenie is hoping for her own forever family

Gwenie came into foster in Cumbria on 30th April 2025.

Hello, I’m Gwennie! (Also known as: cuddle enthusiast, belly tickle connoisseur, and toy relocation specialist.) I may be new here, but I’ve settled in faster than you can say “treat time!” Nothing really fazes me—I’m a confident, sociable little lady who’s always up for making new friends (two-legged or four). Cuddles? Yes, please. Belly rubs? Even better. I’m happiest snuggled up with the resident dogs, sharing naps and the occasional squeaky toy. Speaking of toys—don’t let my small size fool you. I will proudly drag them down the garden steps like a tiny tugboat captain on a mission. I love a good chew on a hoof or horn when it’s time to chill, and I’ve even dipped my paws in the sea (turns out paddling is my thing). I walk nicely on the lead, and I travel well in my little soft crate—especially if there’s a beach at the end of the ride. I picked up this whole house training thing pretty quickly, though I might still have the odd oopsie… but who’s counting when I look this cute? So, if you’re looking for a pint-sized best friend with a big heart and a waggy tail—I’m your girl!

Her Story

Gwenie was found all alone in a field on the outskirts of the city. At such a young age she had no chance of survival. Fortunately a dog trainer who has helped us in the past saw her and picked her up. He brought her to our volunteer and she is now in her foster home here in the UK.

If you think you could offer Gwenie the forever home she’s been dreaming of, please reach out.
