Hello to Simona
Meet super Simona
Simona went into foster in Merseyside on the 23rd March 2026.
Simona is a beautiful, fluffy girl who is currently in foster care and has settled in very well. She sleeps soundly through the night in her own bed and has quickly adapted to a home routine.
She has a great appetite and gets excited at mealtimes, but she patiently sits and waits to be told before eating. Simona is also very gentle when taking treats and shows lovely manners.
Playful and affectionate, she enjoys chasing a ball in the garden and playing with her toys indoors. She is mostly house trained, although she may occasionally dribble slightly before going outside.
Simona has a gentle nature and has shown a fondness for the resident cat, although her larger size means she can sometimes be a bit overwhelming without meaning to. She is becoming accustomed to daily grooming and particularly enjoys having her tummy brushed — often asking for more!
While she has settled nicely, Simona would be best suited to a home with dogs of a similar size or as the only dog. She currently lives with smaller dogs, and due to the size difference, playtime can sometimes lead to tension.
She has started getting used to wearing a harness indoors and will continue building confidence before exploring the outside world.
Simona has all the makings of a loyal and loving companion and will bring so much joy to the right home.
Her Story
She was found sheltering under a car in the pouring rain. When our volunteer stopped she ran over ‘begging’ to be rescued.
