Fig went into foster in Oxfordshire on the 24th August 2026.

Fig is a curious, lively, sweet, and adorable little girl who truly seems to appreciate the fact that she’s been given a chance at a new life.

She travels at the speed of sound, tearing around with boundless energy — then suddenly drops to the floor and snores gently while she recharges for the next burst.

Fig is an absolute joy to have around. She loves people, greeting everyone she meets on her walks, and has become a bit of a local celebrity in the village.

She happily ignores the cats in her foster home and would love a canine playmate — her foster sisters are a little too snooty to play with her, so a home with another dog would suit her perfectly.

Fig does need someone around for most of the day. If you think you could give her the forever home she deserves, please get in touch.

She is also good with cats/dogs/children

Her Story

Fig was found sitting on the step of a barbershop in the local market, close to one of our volunteer’s home. She had been there for several days, only leaving for short periods — we think to find food. Our volunteer spotted her on the way to the local pet shop. She had to take her to safety. She was still just a baby.
